The event takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

There are kids activities on Forest, east of 2nd Ave. from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., which includes free face painting, games, balloons and an all new coloring station.

"We have 40+ musicians/artists/performers booked for our 4 stages- more music submissions than we've ever received before- over 250 in total."

"One big update for music is that the electronic stage is going away- we've made the decision to move the electronic music to all of the other stages to spread those vibes throughout the entire event. In its place will be a quieter, ambient corner filled with table space for eating/card games and more chairs than we've ever had before."

The event also offers a bike valet, which is at the entrance, on the corner of Prentis and 2nd Ave.

This year's food vendors include: Amicci's Pizza, Union Street Detroit, Delectabowl Food Truck & Catering, Majestic Cafe, Full Course Catering, Detroit Shrimp and Fish, Sweet Susan Tarts, Sno Biz Detroit, Mario's, Russell Street Deli!

Motor City Brewing Co. will be providing beer and wine through the festival.

"Last year we had more vendors than ever before- we actually expanded the festival to make room. This year we're on pace to reach the same total or more 200+. So many of the vendors are partners w/ us they come back year after year because they do well and get exposure to a totally different type of crowd."

They are expecting around 40,000-50,000 attendees.
