Weekend clinic for sports injuries to open in Novi

NOVI, Mich. – With falling leaves comes the fall sports and when a student athlete sustains an injury on the weekend, the options are usually a trip to the emergency room, or, wait it out.

Those options will soon be joined by a more convenient, third option.

The Core Institute out of Novi believes they’ve come up with a solution that will get injured athletes checked out, cared for and back on the field quicker.

Every Saturday in the fall, the Core Institute will open its doors to athletes of all ages for a quicker diagnosis and access to specialists and neurologists.

The Core Institute has a ‘2-day athlete guarantee’ which promises to evaluate any athlete with an acute injury within 48 hours, guaranteed.

The clinic opens Sept. 10 and will run until Oct. 22 at their Novi location near Providence Park.

The clinic will be staffed with sports medicine specialists and sports neurologists. Care will also be given to non-urgent injuries including: sprains and strains, fractures, minor dislocations, concussions, or other sports-related injuries.

Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary.

Most insurance plans are accepted. Patients will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis
