STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – Saturday's 'Kiss Fest' was billed as a mega marathon of music that would feature five of the most successful R&B supergroups of the 1990s.
The lineup included the likes of Tony Tony Tony, Jagged Edge and at the top of the bill, Guy, featuring Teddy Riley and Aaron Hall.
But when it came time for the headliners to take the stage, they never showed up, despite promotional materials promising the trio would bring their hits "Let's Chill" and "Piece Of My Love" all the way from Harlem USA and shut it down with "Groove Me," their No. 1 club banger.
Visitors who bought tickets to the show didn't get to hear any of those songs, however.
"The radio station guys all disappeared and the crew came out and started tearing down the set," said one woman who attended the event.
