Eminem's flop debut album 'Infinite' getting another look

Rolling Stone reports Eminem's flop of a debut to his solo career, "Infinite," is getting a remix.

The solo project, produced by Jeff and Mark Bass and released in 1996, sold only a couple hundred copies. Two decades later, and millions of Slim Shady albums sold, the Funky Bass Brothers are taking another shot at Em's first album.

The remixed tracks are slated to appear on digital streaming services and limited-release singles.

Not all was lost on the album. The failture of "Infinite" contributed to the birth of one of the most famous alter ego's in music history. Mark Bass recalls:

Right, after the Infinite record we took a little bit of time off, and that's when he came back with this little "Slim Shady" tattoo on his arm. He came back a whole different person. Something happened to him where he turned into Slim Shady.
