STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – An 88-year-old was killed Saturday in a two-car crash on southbound Hayes Road in Sterling Heights.
Police say the 88-year-old was making a left turn when the car was hit by an oncoming car driven by a 25-year-old.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital, where the 88-year-old was pronounced dead. The 25-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Two other cars were involved in the incident because of debris from the crash, but both of those drivers are okay.
The crash closed southbound Hayes road between 18 Mile Road and Canal Road on Saturday.
