DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – Two sisters were killed Thursday morning when their car was hit by a semi truck at Beech Daly and Van Born roads.
Dearborn Heights police said the two women -- Heidi Fox, 23, and Samantha Fox, 19 -- were inside a Ford Focus that ran a red light on Beech Daly Road and the semi truck slammed into the car, pushing it hundreds of feet down Van Born Road.
It's unknown if the driver of the semi truck was injured in the crash.
Dearborn Heights police are still investigating.
