Warren firefighters battle fire at vacant bowling alley

Fire breaks out at vacant Pampa’s Bowling Alley

WARREN, Mich. – Warren firefighters battled a fire Wednesday morning in the former Pampa’s Bowling Alley on Van Dyke between 13 and 14 Mile roads.

The fire started about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. Van Dyke was closed for a bit while crews extinguished the fire.

At this time we don’t know the cause, but firefighters believe that it could have been arson. Most of the damage was contained to the southwest corner of the building, where the pinsetting area is.

Firefighters were cutting holes in the roof to help vent the fire.

No injuries have been reported.
