PONTIAC, Mich. – A 2-month-old boy was found not breathing in a bassinet Monday at a home in the 40 block of Neome Drive in Pontiac, according to authorities.
Police say the mother took her child to Doctor's Hospital Urgent Care, where he was pronounced dead at around 12:41 p.m. The child was last seen alive by his mother at around 6 a.m. and had no known medical problems.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the child's death. An autopsy is expected to be performed on Tuesday morning.
