DETROIT – One of the U.S. Army's most wanted fugitives has been arrested in Detroit.

Investigators say 25 years ago Maurice Crutchfield deserted his post after firing into a group of people while stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado.

U.S. Marshals recently traced him to Detroit where, they say, he was living under the name "Shawrun Bishop."

He's now in custody and is expected to be turned over the the military for prosecution.
