GROSSE POINTE, Mich. – A Grosse Pointe North High School student is being questioned by police after allegedly posting a bomb threat on social media.
In a statement, principal Kate Murray said the threat was found Tuesday morning.

"The police immediately located the student at home who made the threat, placed him in custody and determined the threat was a hoax," Murray wrote.
The school was closed for a half hour before it reopened at 8 a.m. for classes.
"This sort of hoax is not only disruptive to our students, but impacts all of us on an emotional level. This sort of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated," Murray said.
The school is located at 707 Vernier Road.
