DETROIT – The career expert website Zippia published a list of the 100 highest paid jobs in Michigan for 2016.
Health-related jobs dominated the top of the list, with surgeons, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians and physicians checking in at Nos. 1-4.
Chief executives rounded out the top five.
The list ranks jobs by average salary, but also lists the entry-level salary and the number of people who hold the position in Michigan.
Zippia used the Bureau of Labor Statistics to compile its list.
"We looked at the BLS’s data set for all 735 job classifications in Michigan in order to identify those that get paid the most," the site says.
