DETROIT – A barber shop and a phone store in Detroit were destroyed early Wednesday morning when the building they were in went up in flames.
The two-alarm fire started just before 4 a.m. on East Warren and Outer Drive.

Fire Chief Jack Wiley said it appears the fire started in Reggies V.I.P. Cutz and spread to a Metro PCS store. There were also unoccupied apartments above the businesses.
No injuries were reported.
Wiley said the cause of the fire is being investigated, and an arson crew will be brought in.
