Detroit Public Schools All City Marching Band

Under the direction of Mr. Willie J. McAllister, Jr., Director of Fine Arts for Detroit Public Schools, the All City High School Marching Band is comprised of students and staff from five Detroit Public School high schools.

The schools include Cass Technical, Detroit School of Arts, East English Village, Martin Luther King and Renaissance High Schools. Additionally, the students receive instructional support from three DPS/All City Marching Band and Fine Arts alumni.

Presently, the ACMB is comprised of 150 students. The group rehearses 4 hours on Saturday mornings from 9am – 1pm.  The Band has been selected to participate in the 2014 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia in December.

The Band will be performing "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" by Michael Jackson.
