ROYAL OAK, Mich. – If you're passionate about penguins, obsessed with otters or fascinated by frogs, you might consider working at the wildest place in town this summer.
The Detroit Zoological Society (DZS) is looking for smiling, energetic, friendly and enthusiastic individuals for seasonal employment during the Detroit Zoo's peak season.

The DZS is seeking employees to work flexible schedules in the following positions: guest relations supervisors and assistants, sales associates, park safety officers (security), and Summer Safari camp teachers and aides.
In addition, concessions, retail, food service and some custodial and groundskeeping positions will be filled by Service Systems Associates (SSA), the concessionaire that provides these services to the Zoo.
Pay rates and age requirements vary by position. Candidates must be available to work on weekends, evenings and holidays.
