DETROIT – A Head Start program at a church on Detroit's east side was briefly evacuated Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat.

The Mt. Calvary United Children and Family Head Start program on Chalmers Street was evacuated. The all clear has been given.

Authorities are asking parents to pick up their children.

Another Head Start program on Detroit's east side was evacuated Tuesday morning. It is unclear if the circumstance are related.
