DETROIT – A Detroit man has been charged in connection with fatally stabbing his wife, officials said.
Timothy Morgan, 68, was arraigned on a first-degree murder charge on Tuesday, May 6.

At about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 4, Detroit officers responded to a home in the 18400 block of Conley Street after receiving a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a woman unresponsive in the living room of the home with multiple stab wounds to her back and head, according to the police department.
The victim was identified as 67-year-old Kathryn Morgan. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Timothy Morgan allegedly stabbed his wife multiple times with a plastic sword before hitting her in the head with a pair of pliers.
He allegedly turned himself in to Detroit police a short time after the stabbing.
His probable cause conference is scheduled for May 16, and his preliminary examination is set for May 22.
