DETROIT – Police increased patrols in downtown Detroit following a series of fights involving teenagers in and around Campus Martius Park.
The incidents occurred on Monday (March 30), prompting a visible law enforcement presence around 7:30 p.m., with at least six police vehicles stationed in the area per Local 4 cameras.
Police confirmed that several arrests were made, though additional details were limited because those involved are minors.
Officials did not release information about what led to the fights or how many people were taken into custody.
