FBI, police digging at property on Detroit’s west side

DETROIT – FBI agents and Detroit police are investigating a property on Detroit’s west side on Monday.

Federal agents appear to be digging into the ground on a property near the intersection of Oregon and Beechwood streets on the city’s west side on April 13.

The FBI confirmed with Local 4 that agents are “conducting law enforcement” on Detroit’s west side on April 13. No further information was provided, but the FBI said, “There is no current threat to the public at this time.”

Sky4 flew over the scene, where FBI agents were spotted digging through the property and recovering what appeared to be items of clothing. The details of this investigation are not immediately clear.
