16-year-old boy found wounded in an alley following shooting on Detroit’s west side Police said the suspect has not been taken into custody
DETROIT – A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot in an alley on Detroit’s west side.
The shooting occurred on Monday (June 1) in the area of Fenkell Avenue and Mark Twain Street, near the 14400 block of Fenkell Avenue.
Officials said the teen was transported to a Metro Detroit hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Police said the suspect has not been taken into custody.
Additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
The investigation remains ongoing.
