A Priority Waste garbage truck crashed into a guardrail on Friday while attempting to navigate a turn in Oakland Township, coming to rest on its side.
The accident occurred at the intersection of W Snell and Orion roads. It’s not yet clear whether injuries have been reported.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and emergency personnel are on the scene to assist.
News of the crash comes amid ongoing complaints from Priority Waste customers throughout Metro Detroit about missed and delayed trash pickups, leaving some neighborhoods with trash sitting curbside for days and prompting a new apology from the company.
