DETROIT – Detroit police are investigating a hit-and-run on the city's southwest side.
Police said a man is in critical condition after being hit around 3:30 a.m. Monday at Central and John Kronk streets.

A passerby spotted the victim and called 911.
Police have not yet released the victim's name or a description of what type of vehicle they are looking for.
There are no working street lights on that stretch of road.
