Man killed in hit and run in Detroit

DETROIT – Police say a man was found lying in the middle of the street near Mt. Elliot Street and East Outer Drive on Saturday morning with his head bleeding.

An unknown driver saw the man and called police to the area. Authorities say it appears to be a hit-and-run, but there are no suspects.

Police say the victim was barely breathing when authorities arrived on the scene. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
