CLAY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The body of a man found off the shore of Harsens Island Wednesday morning has been identified as a 68-year-old London, Ontario man.
London police said Richard Wainright had been missing since Tuesday. His vehicle was found in the village of Sombra, Ontario.

St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon said his office took over Wednesday after Clay Township police first received a call from a resident in the 1500 block of North Channel Drive.
The body was found floating in a cut off the North Channel of the St. Clair River.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death. Meanwhile, London and Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the death.
