DETROIT – Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident Thursday evening on Detroit's west side.

The accident happened on Lahser Road and Keeler Street.
Two men in a Mercury Sable crashed into another vehicle driven by a woman and her child.
The woman's vehicle ended up on the grass and the men in Sable fled from the scene on foot.
The woman and the child were taken to the hospital.
