LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. – Michigan State Police provided an update to Thursday morning’s crash on I-96 near Fowlerville saying the cause was most likely weather related.
The westbound lanes of the interstate are shut down between M-52 and M-59. The eastbound lanes have reopened.
Authorities said there were whiteout conditions and it is unclear which vehicle initially started the chain reaction.
