DETROIT – At least five people were hurt Sunday night in a shooting at a block party outside a car wash on Detroit's east side, police said.
It happened around 10 p.m. in the area of Gratiot Avenue and Whithorn.
Police said a couple hundred people were at the party when two people fired into the crowd.
Police said the victims, ages 14, 19, 18, 19, and 29, are in temporary serious condition.
Police do not have a description of the shooter at this time.
This is the third block party shooting in a little over a week in Detroit.
