Video shows deadly police shooting at Arizona Walmart

Newly released surveillance video shows a deadly police shooting at a Walmart in Arizona.

Reports say two officers went to the store in Chandler, Ariz. on April 23 to remove a trespasser. The video (watch above) shows shoppers taking cover as bullets began to fly. The officers are shown diving in an attempt to avoid being shot.

Police said Mitchell Oakley, armed with a handgun, ambushed the officers. One officer took two bullets to his vest while the other was shot in his face. The officer shot in the vest is shown quickly turning over on the ground after taking the bullets and firing back at the suspect as he ran out of the store.

The suspect dropped his weapon once outside of the store. He doubled back to get the gun when he was shot and killed by police.

Both officers are expected to survive injuries.

ABC 15 Arizona identified the officers as Joshua Pueblo and Daniel Colwell. Colwell was shot in his vest while Pueblo was shot in the face. Pueblo spent time in a hospital and recovered.

The video was released by the Chandler Police Department.
