SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man was seriously injured in a two-car accident in Shelby Township Saturday night, according to police.
The crash occurred at the intersection of 23 Mile and Schoenherr roads. Police discovered the accident around 9:40 p.m.

A 23-year-old passenger from Macomb Township was injured and unresponsive.
The passenger was taken to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Police said they are investigating whether one of the drivers was under the influence at the time of the crash.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Shelby Township Police Department Traffic Bureau.
