WIXOM, MI – Dive teams have found the body of a man who previously went missing at Loon Lake in Wixom.
According to police, the man was on a boat in Loon Lake around 10:30pm Saturday night, when he went swimming in the lake, and never resurfaced.
Wixom Police released a statement on social media, Sunday morning:
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wixom man who went under the water last night while swimming and did not resurface."
The victim has been identified as a 63-year-old Wixom man.
Police are asking residents to stay off of the lake while they continue their investigation.
