Justin Johnson, 22, accepted a plea deal to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and accosting a minor for immoral purposes and felony firearms charges. The charges of kidnapping and felonious assault were dismissed.
The assault occurred on the morning of June 3 in the area of Trojan and Grandville avenues. The girl was walking to school alone because her usual walking partner, a 14-year-old girl, was killed the night before when a van hit her and another girl while they crossed 8 Mile Road at Evergreen Road.
Johnson is scheduled to be sentenced at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice at 9 a.m.
