DETROIT – The man who was arrested and charged with shooting and killing Wayne State University police officer Collin Rose is shown on video at the time of the shooting in a business, sources close to the investigation said.
DeAngelo Davis, 31, was charged Nov. 25 with first-degree murder, felony firearm, murder of a police officer, felony firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, along with Detroit police and university police, officially announced Wednesday morning that all charges against Davis will be dismissed. He is no longer considered a suspect.
Davis was being held at Wayne County Jail, where he remains for now.

"All murder charges against DeAngelo Davis will be dismissed today. He is no longer a suspect at this time. As you can imagine the officer's from the task force including the Michigan State Police and the Detroit Police Department have been working diligently and literally, literally, around the clock along with members of my office on this case," said Worthy.
The prosecutor would not take questions. You can watch the short news conference below.
"None of us want to compromise the direction this investigation is going," she said.
Detroit Police Chief James Craig said his investigators have not stopped working to find Rose's shooter.
