MILFORD, Mich. – The city of Dearborn is on notice, that if it doesn't change some of the rules at Camp Dearborn in Milford, the state of Michigan could take action and possibly shut it down.
Among the changes, trailers larger than 400 square feet will no longer be allowed, because the state considers them mobile homes.
Permanent patios outside of trailers will be banned, along with trailers with a cabana or enclosure.
Permanent trailers already in place will be grandfathered in.
Park manager Lee Morris said the state is working with him to make sure the changes are made.
"It's more of an evolution of an older facility that needs to evolve to the state's new regulations," said Morris.
