TROY, Mich. – The Troy Police Department is investigating "implied threats" of a school shooting made by a 15-year-old Troy High School student on social media.
Police said no direct threats were made to Troy High School or any other school. They were made aware of the "implied threats" Wednesday morning and launched an investigation.

At this point, police said they don't believe the 15-year-old intended to carry out the threat. They believe other students might have been aware of the threats.
Police will increase patrols at Troy High School until the incident is resolved.
The investigation is ongoing.
