The Coast Guard rescued three fishermen Tuesday after the fishing vessel the men were on caught fire a mile east of St. Catherines Island in Georgia.
Watchstanders with the Coast Guard Sector Charleston Command Center received a call at 3:16 p.m. from a crew member aboard the Sea Puppy.

The man said the boat was on fire and taking on water.
A Coast Guard Station Tybee Island 29-foot response boat with a small boat crew and an air station Savannah MH-65 dolphin helicopter aircrew launched around 3:25 p.m.
The dolphin crew got to the fishermen at 4:30 p.m., hoisted them into the helicopter and took them to air station Savannah, where medical officials were waiting.
There were no injuries to anyone involved in the incident, officials said.
Coast Guard pollution investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
