SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Michigan State Police released video that showed a vehicle slamming into a patrol car from behind while a trooper was responding to a crash Wednesday night on eastbound I-696 in Southfield.

Police said the trooper had pulled over to help another trooper working on a crash scene when a car rear-ended the patrol car.
There were no injuries in the crash involving the patrol car, but the impact was so hard that it knocked off the car's emergency lights.
Police posted the video to social media with a reminder to drivers to move over when they see emergency lights.
