Violent robbery at Dearborn pharmacy caught on camera

Gunman threatens employees, gets away with cash

DEARBORN, Mich. – Security cameras were rolling Saturday when a gunman stormed into a Dearborn pharmacy, threatened employees and robbed the place.

Police didn't name the pharmacy, but said it's near Cherry Hill and Outer Drive.

No employees were hurt, but the gunman got away with merchandise from the pharmacy.

Police have released video and photos from surveillance cameras.

The gunman is described by police as black, in his 20s with a slim build, and tattoos down his right arm. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, khaki cargo shorts and a blue baseball hat.

“Our number one priority is citizen safety. We will do everything in our power to ensure the perpetrator is identified and brought to justice. We are urging the public to assist us in identifying this dangerous individual,” Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said.

Anyone with information on the man in the surveillance video is asked to call Dearborn police’s tip line at 313-943-3030, or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAKUP.
