DETROIT – A woman is dead and six other people were hurt after a crash on Detroit's east side that may have been the result of a shooting.
The incident happened Tuesday evening at the intersection of Gunston Avenue and Whithorn Street.
Police said shots may have been fired at the woman's vehicle shortly before the crash.
The six hurt in the crash were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
