DETROIT – Red Wings fans are advised that I-75 traffic has been extremely congested due to lane closures at the I-94 interchange. Fans are advised to plan accordingly and consider alternate routes when traveling to Joe Louis Arena for Thursday's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 p.m., with doors to The Joe opening at 6:00 p.m.

About the lane closures
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is installing temporary bridge supports on the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 75 underneath the Interstate 94 interchange in Detroit.
A routine inspection revealed the concrete has deteriorated, creating a safety hazard.
The entire job is expected to take about a week.
