Coaches Dominic Scicluna and Costea Decu are looking for players to add to their already successful indoor team who made their way to the Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) quarterfinals last year and are two-time PASL Eastern Division Champions.

This year, the PASL and Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) have joined to form the new Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). The Waza Flo pro team looks forward to being a prominent force within the league. They will compete against powerhouses such as the Kansas City Comets and Baltimore Blast, as well as many others across the country.

Waza's reserve team will play in the PASL-Premier division with an opportunity to compete for a national championship. The two squads will train together and some premier players may have the opportunity to move up to the pro squad.

Coach/player Dominic Scicluna, who has just received the prestigious honor of being named an inductee into the Michigan Soccer Association Hall of Fame, is excited to extend the tryout invitation.

"I would like to invite all players in Michigan who still have that dream and passion to play professional soccer, to come out and see if they have what it takes," he said. "Whether you have just finished college or are playing in the local men's league, come take your spot on the team that's waiting for you and live that dream!"

The season begins on Nov. 1 at Melvindale Civic Arena against Eastern Division rival Harrisburg Heat. The remaining schedule will be out soon along with promotions.

The tryout cost is $30 pre-registered and $40 walk-up.
