Dense fog blanked SE Michigan this morning

No description found

Dense Fog Advisory for all of SE Michigan until 10am with very tricky travel weather as a result. Give yourselves a little extra time on your commute with fog making it difficult to see well even on the major highways around Metro Detroit. Temps are in the upper 30s to low and mid 40s as you head out. But, it will warm once the hazy sun busts through the fog this afternoon. Highs again will hit mid 60s to near 70 degrees with winds SE 5-10 mph. 70° F is the record high in Detroit for November 7th and we will take a shot, or at least fall just shy.

Tuesday, Election Day, will start calm with some patchy fog, but a chance for rain into your afternoon. Showers along a cool front will move into the area sometime after lunch and could last for a few hours. Don’t let that stop you from getting to the polls as we expect nothing more than light showers through the afternoon and part of the evening. Temps will be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees and cooler around showers.

Cooler air will move in midweek through the weekend. We will see partly sunny skies and highs in the low to maybe mid 50s Wednesday with a cooler breeze NW 5-15 mph. Things get a bit breezy on Thursday with highs in the mid 50s and lots of sunshine. Friday through the weekend will be a struggle temperature wise as we stay in the 30s and 40s with dry weather for a while.  As you know, the Fall Season brings constant changes so, make sure you have the Local4Casters app bringing the weather with you.
