Most of Southeast Michigan will see persistent light and moderate snow. Some areas in Monroe County and other towns along Lake Erie, the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair will experience a brief period (between 1pm and 3pm ET) of a rain-snow mix.

This being our first measurable snow of the season, we are being jolted into the swing of things. It is important to quickly remember that ramps, bridges and overpasses freeze first and any untreated surfaces, including sidewalks, parking lots, driveways and secondary roads, are very treacherous.
