Man arrested in stolen car at Shelby Township drive-thru

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A vehicle stolen out of Detroit has been recovered in Shelby Township.

According to authorities, officers located a stolen 2024 Nissan Altima in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant near the intersection of Hall and Schoenherr roads on May 2.

The driver, identified by police as Jamarius Jackson, was taken into custody without incident.

Police said they found multiple IDs and documents with different names and photos inside the vehicle consistent with identity fraud.

Jackson was charged with receiving and concealing stolen property. His bond was set at $10,000 cash/surety.
