ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A water line broke Tuesday afternoon at the University of Michigan medical campus, impacting some patient care and telephone lines.
The Medical Center said most patient care continued as normal but that the Cancer Center clinic building was evacuated. Patients were not harmed.

The Cancer Center announced Wednesday that it would be reopened Thursday.
Emergency power was available for high-priority care.
The water flow was stopped by Tuesday night and crews were working through the night to restore services affected by the flood.
Patients scheduled for chemotherapy infusion sessions on Wednesday at the Cancer Center building were contacted. Some infusions may be performed at the C.S. Mott Children's Hospital infusion area.
"We have dozens of physicians and staff working to ensure that our patients receive the best care with as little inconvenience as possible. Everyone is pitching in," said Max M. Wicha, M.D., director of the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center.
