ANN ARBOR – Just in time for Halloween, Zingerman's Candy Manufactory will be celebrating its grand opening on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 3723 Plaza Dr Suite 3, Ann Arbor.

“We’re just really excited to have people come and see us. It’s like having a party at your house,” managing partner Charlie Frank said. “It seems like we just started. It’s amazing, and we’re so happy to be here and to see everything we make all in one room.”

For the past few months, the new retail space has been undergoing a soft launch, and Saturday, they're pulling out all the stops.

Guests who come for the grand opening will enjoy a 20 percent discount, can tour the facility to learn how the candy gets made and enjoy lots of samples. While supplies last, kids who come to the event will receive a free copy of The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, by Joseph Troiano. Attendees will also be able to enter to win a candy collection worth $200.

Ahead of the opening, Frank said, “I just really want to sweeten everyone’s day. We put our hearts into everything we make and do, and I hope that comes through with our new store.”
