ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Everyone loves trivia. “Useless” fact collectors shine with their bevy of knowledge about tv series characters, movie easter eggs and iconic landmark knowledge. Geography and flag nerds finally get some recognition, and history buffs get to show up their friends.
Throughout November, various Ann Arbor hangouts are hosting trivia nights so gather up your team and go toe-to-toe with others at these trivia events.

Haymaker Public House
203 E. Washington St.
On Mondays throughout November, the Ann Arbor sports bar will offer Office themed trivia games. Ultimate fans of the sitcom will be crowned and will receive a $100 gift card. Monday night trivia is free to play; however, teams must register in advance each week.
Starting this week, Majority Rules trivia will happen every Thursday night at 8 p.m. A twist on traditional trivia, players of Majority Rules will be asked to guess the top five answers given on various quizzes.
Players can earn up to 40 percent off of their drinks, as well as gifts cards.
Haymaker also offers free Sporcle trivia on Tuesdays and Sundays at 7 p.m., and Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
Wolverine State Brewing Co.

Trivia pairs best with beer. On Mondays and Wednesdays, at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., two rounds of trivia rock Wolverine State Brewing Co. With questions coming from various topics through Sporcle Live! and host Mike D., trivia teams compete for prizes and to claim the title of trivia night winners.

Each Wednesday throughout the school year, Bløm is presenting free trivia with the Trivia Factory from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tag-in teammates to answer questions and rack up points through interacting with visuals, music and an end-of-night wager. Winners receive gift cards. Each week teams receive an additional point and at the end of the season, the team with the most points will win a party in the Bløm taproom.
As a bonus, Pilar’s Tamales will also be onsite during trivia with food and snacks for purchase.
The Original Cottage Inn
512 E William St.
Have your (pizza) pie and eat it too on Tuesday nights with Cottage Inn’s Trivia Nights with Sporcle Live!. Players can compete during two rounds, beginning at 7:30 p.m. and again at 8:30 p.m., and probe their brains to answer questions on numerous topics.
The first-place winner for each round will receive a $20 gift card, and runners-up will receive $10 gift cards.

In collaboration with Sporcle Live!, Ashley’s offers Monday night trivia every week at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Trivia is also offered on Thursdays at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Winners of each round can win a $15 Gift Card with runners up winning a $10 gift card.
