Galaxy Artisan Market to take over Ann Arbor rehabilitation center Saturday

Support local artisans, artists at Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – On Saturday, the Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center will hold its third annual Galaxy Artisan Market in Ann Arbor.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the free event supports local artists who have overcome medical challenges, illnesses and setbacks.

Showing off and selling their artwork and crafts, the artisans are able to keep all of the proceeds generated by their sales. Groups that support artists are also welcome to participate with their own booths.

This year volunteers will also be at the Artisan Market to support the artists with receipts, customer service and with the handling of artwork.

Prior to the market, artists have been helped in learning to advocate for their products, how to price their art, create receipts and prepare their booths.
