These Ann Arbor roads will be closed for Halloween events this weekend

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Several roads in Downtown Tree Town will be closed this weekend in order to make way for two spooky events.

A2 Artoberfest Fine Art Fair will cause Fourth Avenue between Catherine and Huron streets and Ann Street between Main Street and Fifth Avenue to close between 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 29.

The event, organized by the Guild of Artists and Artisans, will bring talented creatives, food vendors, children’s activities and live entertainment.

Washington Street between Fletcher and Thayer streets will be closed from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday for the University of Michigan 2023 Spook-a-thon.

Student-run nonprofit Dance Marathon is hosting a free Halloween-themed event from 2-5 p.m. on Ingalls Mall with pumpkin carving, costume contest, games refreshments, and visits by Little Victors from C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.

Dance Marathon at the University of Michigan hosts regular fundraisers for children needing care and therapies at Mott’s.
