ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Students get another snow day this week due to freezing temperatures and treacherous roach conditions in Ann Arbor.
Ann Arbor Public Schools officials announced that schools would remain closed on Wednesday after having already canceled classes on Tuesday.

In an updated notice, administrators cited “dangerously cold temperatures and icy road conditions in outlying areas” and neighborhoods as the reason for cancellation.
Wind chill and high winds also contributed to the decision.
“With temperatures predicted to remain in the low single digits and wind at 10 to 20 miles per hour, conditions are expected to exist that would make frostbite possible in less than 15 minutes,” the notice reads.
The status of afternoon activities will be updated around mid-day on Wednesday.
A Board of Education meeting slated for 7 p.m. on Wednesday is still anticipated to take place.
