The survey is open to anyone visiting or living or working in Ann Arbor.

Responses will influence Ann Arbor’s Comprehensive Plan, which guides city policymaking, land use, public spending and projects.

City officials stated in a notice that a consultant team is helping the city with the effort and its focus on sustainability, affordability and equity.

Those interested in getting more involved with the Plan can join a steering committee, participate in pop-up events, join an outreach team, take surveys or visit open houses and town hall meetings.

Officials noted that Ann Arbor City Council has made several future goals including housing initiatives, reducing zoning categories, focusing on values-based land use, repairing past exclusionary policies and advancing the city’s carbon neutrality plan, A2ZERO.
