24-year-old woman involved in Washtenaw County deadly hit-and-run arrested

SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A 24-year-old woman who was involved in the deadly Washtenaw County deadly hit-and-run on Sunday, Jan. 21 has been arrested.

Officials posted on X that they made the arrest on Friday (Jan. 26) and that she was being held in the Washtenaw County jail.

Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the area of Prospect Road and Park Lane in Superior Township around 8:20 a.m. on Sunday.

Officials said a 53-year-old Ypsilanti woman walking on Prospect Road was struck during the night and left near the side of the road. Passersby later found her.
